I thought the twisted metal looking part would irritate my piercing but it doesn't. It gives a nice little something extra so it's not completely distracting from the entire face. My only complaint is that it could have been a little thicker since my piercing gage was 18g. Also the ring is super easy to bend which is could for getting it on and off but beware of wiping your nose too hard lol. Would highly recommend.
