This is my second purchase of the flat back. It worked so well, I decided to make use of the store coupon that I was sent and buy another back for my second earring. (Please see my earlier review.)
Frankly, I think the flat back should be a standard option for earrings and wouldn't mind a 5mm head 😁

Exactly what I needed. I lost the ball back to one of my earrings and was looking for a replacement when I found this flat back. Wish I had know about this option earlier. The ball back stuck out too far and would get hit with the earpiece of my glasses or tangle up with my long hair. I suffer from keloids and wanted something flush and had been looking for a new set of earrings. This solved my problem. The flat back is tiny, but easy to hold. (I almost couldn't find it in the packaging and thought I had been mailed an empty box-lol) I don't have to keep flipping it around trying to find the opening like with a ball back. It fit my 18g (which also came from this shop) perfectly.
Very very very small but easier to manage than the tiny ball backs. I did go to a piercer to have them placed on my new tragus piercings that are beautiful.

Beautiful and dainty
